da ymmv but i had to wear thick padded bras with a paper towel lining each cup the for the first week or so because when i got cold and my nips got hard they would bleed a little. the healing process wasn't bad but it took a little over a year for them to fully heal (i.e. no more crusties/dryness or random throbby pains [normal during healing])
