yes to both. the pain was intense but it was over fast and my nips weren't really sensitive at all before but now they're really sensitive

how was the healing process? was it no different from, say, getting your ears pierced? i feel like since it's not a moist area (like your tongue or lip) it would heal easily if you were careful

da ymmv but i had to wear thick padded bras with a paper towel lining each cup the for the first week or so because when i got cold and my nips got hard they would bleed a little. the healing process wasn't bad but it took a little over a year for them to fully heal (i.e. no more crusties/dryness or random throbby pains [normal during healing])
