An idol suddenly taking to social media and spilling, you know that is real, especially in kpop, especially in Korea where you're taught to keep your mouth shut and your head down.

im sorry but how are people this stupid. jessica is not ~dropping the truth tea~, she's having an emotional reaction to an enormous upset in her life. posting like that IS unprofessional and its motivated by the fact she's hurt. but she said it was 'for no good reason' despite the fact she herself wanted to check out of the group after one more album. and thats obviously despite what the other 8 want, otherwise they would have asked the same then had a peaceful disbanding/hiatus. but she neglected to mention that in her post, so where's the truth in that?

why are people so incapable of realising its all grey here, not black and white. even sm arent villains; they didnt want to cut off their own noses to spite their faces, they're a business, but their own desire to keep snsd trucking (and the remaining 8s desires as well in all likelihood) forced their hand.

idk snsd personally to comment on what they think or want lol. definitely agree that people are too quick to paint everything in black and white

tbh i don't know who is responsible for jessica's exit from snsd, and idk what forced sm's hand, but i can't help but feel that this decision was shortsighted bc snsd's brand value is gonna diminish for sure (soshibond is fake but it's how they're marketed)
