i know, this is kpap, male and female groups drop and switch members out all the time...i said i thought snsd would be one of the few because their entire marketing concept is based on that, more than anything i didn't think sm would let it happen

as a kpap fan (who doesn't stan gg though so i'm in a different target market ig), the ultimate selling point of snsd is their numbers (9 girls in a group is like 13 guys in a group - there's someone for everyone) and the fact there were one of the older gen groups who carried the hallyu wave along with the rest of the older gen groups.

but yeah imo it's the sheer number of members and their ent company that made them successful, along with their desire to make it to the top

i don't agree, why did nine muses never make it big then? snsd is one of the few groups who appeal to girls and that's why they sell so much, and they attracted female fans based on them being relatable and having a good group dynamic
