da i have a half white friend who does this but i think it's kinda sus bc she's white passing and has a white name (and obviously being mixed race is part of her identity but she def benefits from white privilege)

anon from above, and that's my fran too - she's white-passing and her name is not an "ethnic" one

not saying that she doesn't get shit for being biracial from white ppl, but sometimes i wonder if she's not overdoing it a bit
