i think one of mblaws biggest problems was the fact no one who was or is in the group is a listenable singer tbh. like not even in a jun.k 'interesting tone masquerading as being capable technically' kind of way

i think go is a good singer tho
seungho sounds nice depending on the song too

go's problem is his exceptionally poor breath control, his nasality and the fact that his tone is thin and scratchy. those combined, plus his attempts at belting, which imo indicate a confidence that far outstrips his actual talent, makes him the worst lead singer of any of the boybands to see any kind of success. ymmv but i would wager from the kind of voices koreans tend to go gaga over, he didn't bring in the kind of fan numbers, proportionally, that being the group's best singer normally would.

seungho is alright but he's like just above rappers in any other (non jyp) boyband. at least he's good at being a potato tho!

i was never sure where the nickname came from tbh. it just seemed to pop up one day years ago but i thought seungho was actually the original potato. i could be wrong though its a long time ago at this stage

regardless he was my favourite from mblaw, as were hyunmin and baekho from their respective groups, so i like potatoes

seungho is my ideal namja, i love everything about him even his flabs

but i think worst than not having a good singer is not having amazing songs. their title tracks were always just...there :(

i always thought seungho was a good singer ;; he sounded good in lives, at least, he could dance/sing at the same time with no problem
