but didn't yg say their concept/style is gonna be swaggy hep-hap (unlike winner)? that's pm what bts is, and that's why i see a potential overlap

imo bap, for all the sweg attributed to them, was never as hxc hep-hap as fans wanted them to be imo

imo a similar concept is not enough for their fanbases to overlap. ikon will be a typical yg group in the sense they won't interact with fans a lot or go on varieties. for example, ikon won't attract fans who love it when their oppars pimp themselves out on sns and have a gazillion fansigns (something bts do)
both might have a big fandom but they will have gained it differently

why do up think it's over for bap ? they had their most well received song this year, tons of fans in new cities excited to go see them in the spring...if they start not being able to bring in people to their 488448848484 tour stops, then it's over
they were never gonna be a top boygroup in the first place
mid-tier level is good enough

i mean it's over for them in the long run
ts is milking them to the bone right now without thinking of the group's future at all, this is the worst case of group management i have seen lately

they don't stick them in variety or dramas or give them any other gigs

the members individually have nothing going on for them so while they will continue their cycle of coming back and going on tours as a group, the members individually have no future in the industry
