confession i wish i could get into nugu groups some of the new ones seem promising like ateez but i've been burned in the past so it's hard to stan a group that doesn't seem like guarantee success - madtown, speed, cross gene etc etc

instead they had the judges pick one of the teams after rehearsals to perform for the public and the other one gets jack shit, no performance

i only just found out and i'm so sad TT it seems his group was a really really tight call and i liked him from the first two eps...have no idea what 271 is doing because they haven't given most of the boys exposure and this no stage thing is guaranteeing less exposure even tho the first stage for season 1 netted fans for li xikan, bi wenjun, lin yanjun etc. who went from kinda unknown to doing really well...

tbh nugu boy groups have not been having success since like 2015 and loona is the last nugu gg i can remember making an impact just stan one of the wanna one fallout groups successful for at least a year or two guaranteed

fyi there's several reasons why ateez is so hyped and deservedly so:
- young and promising (98-00liners)
- 8 members, not too many to memorize
- everyone can dance and their main dancers are amazing
- striking visuals, handsome face after handsome face
- their music is consistently produced by the same ppl so they have their own sound
- only past 100 days after debut but has a lot of mvs, youtube clips, vlives
- their styling looks so unique and expensive
- it's like a mix of 2013 nugus like block b + exo inspired smp
- their company knows what they're doing
- two mini albums already
- sold out us tour already
